"A COMMITMENT TO HOLY LIVING"
"WEARING THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD!"
                                             PSALM 101
1. I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.
2. I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
3. I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
4. A forward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
5. Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath a high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
6. Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.
7. He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.
8. I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.

"A MUCH CLOSER LOOK AT PSALM 101"

Verse # 1. This first scripture addresses the issue of praising God through song. We are encouraged to magnify God in all aspects of our lives each day. Sing songs of praise unto God regardless of the situation. Speak the answer and not the problem. The answer to any problem is found in the Word of God and through prayer. Have faith in God to answer your prayer. Pray scriptures that minister to your soul while you wait for the answer to manifest in the natural real of life. Make your home a sanctuary for God through praise and worship and daily devotions with your family members while you wait for God to direct you into a leadership position within a ministry of helps or lead you into your own ministry.

Verse # 2. Say to yourself, I will be mindful of my character  and attitude, and do wisely using Godly principles of wisdom in every situation. When you fall short of using wisdom ask God to forgive you and return to using Godly principles of Wisdom. The book of Proverbs is filled with principles of wisdom. Say to yourself, I will do what is just and right as I walk within my own home. My heart shall be perfect before God and all those who enter in my home. That they may have a good report of me, even in public places. Let there be no difference in who you are in your home or on your job, in church, business or anywhere when it comes to your commitment to HOLY LIVING.

Verse # 3. I have decided to live holy therefore I will take no part in any wicked thing set before mine eyes. Be resolved in your heart and mind not to entertain sin in any form. Do not set evil things before your eyes such as, movies that are sinful, magazines, objects of any kind or a person that do wicked acts.

Do not gaze with pleasure with the eye that which God says in his word is evil. God in his word has given you permission to hate what he hates, but also to do that which is just. Trust God to lead you and guide you away from those who are evil and would lead you astray. Because they turned aside from following God doen't mean that you have too.  You must not walk with those who have abandon Godly principles for unholy living. It is shall not take a hold on my mind and thoughts, don't let the devil in your life, close the door and shut the window, and nail down the floor boards to keep him out through prayer and fasting with the written word of God.

You must be determined to show no interest in the things of the world except to pray for sinners to be converted unto Christ and certainly not to indulge in any unholy activity of the world or be influenced by their life style.

Verse #4. I will not permit my heart to become forward, filled with willfulness and disobedience against the will of God for my life. I will not set in the company of those given to outburst of anger actions of any kind or in the presence of those who use vulgar language. It is within my heart to Love God according to his written word, and to not be in the company with evil people who dispise righteousness. Choose to  purpose in your heart not to allow those persons who are deceitful, corrupt in character toward you or others to have entrance into your life or anything pertaining to your life. Disbar them from your fellowship plead the blood of King Jesus against them and their evil wicked deeds. The blood of King Jesus is a weapon of our warfare mentioned in 2 Cor. 10:4-5. The blood of King Jesus is mentioned in Heb. 9:14. Wash your mind in the blood of King Jesus when evil is present and when you do not realize that it is present because it is in the unseen realm. And is just as deadly as that which we can see with our eyes or hear with our ears Rev. 12:11.

Verse #5.  Cut off those given to gossip and slander. To speak evil of a person to destroy their good name and reputation is an extremely wicked thing. The person or persons that commit such acts are dangerous people to be around. Shun them at all cost. Slander reveals a reprobate heart and is untrustworthy.  God hates a proud look. In Prov. 16:18 Pride goeth before distruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. God hates pride and delights in those who are humble in heart to hear and obey his word.

Verse #6. Trust God to lead and guide you in life to have people in your company who are honest and trust worthy.  Surround yourself with people of wisdom and character that represents God. Those who are faithful to God will also be faithful to you and others. God will bless your life with honorable people to be in your employment, as church members, who will serve you with confidence and trust. Not people of a shady character and distrustful. And when your ways are honorable before God and others your opportunity for promotions in the spiritual and natural arenas of life are made possible over and above all other people. Eph. 4:11.

Verse #7. People who practice deception, falsehood, tricks, pranks, fraudulent acts should not be allowed in your home or presence. They are dishonest and two-faced people. Separate yourself from those who tell lies and make dirty jokes of others in your presence. Who laugh and make jokes at the expense of another person. There is no such thing as a "white lie", all lies are sinful and will destroy your witness and growth in Jesus Christ.  God desires to use you for his perfect will and these evil sins and sins of others can not be apart of your life or existence.

Verse #8. Because God abhors evil he will destroy it through righteous judgment. And he his given you the means in his word to do the same. Pray against evil where ever it may exist. But do not allow it's presence in your own life or home.

To become a leader for the kingdom of God you must first make a firm commitment to obey what the Written Word of God has to say against the evil of this wicked world and become strong and mighty against it. To defeat it at every turn using the Whole Armor of God in Eph. 6:10-17. Praise God.  Pray for God to remove leaders out of office in your community, nation, business, world, church and your home, who are corrupt. Then ask God to put people of Godly character in those positions of power and authority who will turn the hearts of men and women and children back toward God. 2 Cor. 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and make the manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
